Rosa Mastin

April 30, 2020
To our precious Rosa….You have always been an old soul at heart. You began your love of reading in Mrs. Reese’s first grade class starting with the entire Laura Ingalls series, then soon moved on to wanting to read all about her daughter, Rose Wilder and her life on the prairie. I always loved when you wanted to share those stories with me and dad, and imagining what life would look like living during those times. You’ve always had an adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors, camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, traveling the west coast and spending quality time with your family. You have been an amazing big sister, always willing to help tutor them in math, being a chauffer and going for walks along the bay for some quality sister time.
Being an avid reader has certainly served you well academically. You have always challenged yourself in school with honors, AP and dual enrollment classes and maintained above a 4.0 average. One of your greatest achievements academically was reaching your goal score on the ACT, earning yourself a tuition scholarship to Auburn University as well as being awarded the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority Scholarship. Your father and I could not be more proud and happy for you. We are so proud you are continuing the family legacy of attending Auburn University. We wish you all the best as you pursue your career in veterinary medicine.
With much love, Mom, Dad, Sonja and Isabella
