Mrs. Jenny Hixon is the Environmental Science teacher, Biology teacher, and sponsor for the Environmental Club at Fairhope High School. Mrs. Hixon has been teaching for 14 years, six of those years have been at Fairhope. Mrs. Hixon has been married to John Scott Hixon for six years. She has an 11 year old son named Walker who goes to Fairhope East and has two dogs named Clara and Rue. Mrs. Hixon graduated from The University of Montevallo with her bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2003 and again with her master’s in Secondary Education in 2005. She loved her time at Montevallo, stating how small classes made it easy to connect with her professors. Mrs. Hixon loves to spend time with her family, traveling especially out West, hiking, fishing, and watching movies. Mrs. Hixon said the reason she decided to teach at Fairhope High School is that it is the best school in the county.
