Savannah Cook, Internet Marketing student

Mrs. Lori Havard serves as the General Biology teacher for ninth grade and also as the Peer Helpers coordinator. Mrs. Havard has been teaching for five years at Fairhope High School. She also taught at J. Larry Newton and other schools for 23 years. Mrs. Havard is happily married to her husband Wesley Havard and has a son that she adores named Cannon. Mrs. Havard received her teaching degree from The University of Alabama and a master’s degree in education from The University of South Alabama. Mrs. Havard loves to chill and watch Netflix, read, going to the beach, and doing outdoor activities. Mrs. Havard decided to go into teaching because her younger brother Chuck hated school in 2nd grade because he felt his teacher disliked him. This caused her brother to fail the second grade. This inspired Mrs. Havard to become a teacher so she could love her students, be there for them, and give them the education they deserve without them worrying about a teacher that may or maynot dislike them.
