Mr. Wayne Fillingim is the Band Director at Fairhope High School. Mr Fillingim has been in education for 15 years and has been at Fairhope High School since Fall, 2014. He lives in Daphne, AL with his two kids (the kind that bark). Some of his hobbies are playing the saxophone, he is the assistant conductor of the Baldwin Pops Community Band where he also plays the saxophone, and once enjoyed golfing.

Mr. Fillingim is a 1995 graduate of Fairhope High School. His post high school education includes University of Mobile, University of South Alabama, and Old Dominion University. He received a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Music Education from the University of South Alabama in December 2005 and a Master of Music from University of South Alabama in May 2015, where he was the first-ever graduate with this degree from USA.
