Faculty Spotlight: Anita Salinas

Mrs. Salinas is the testing coordinator, 504 coordinator, and RTI chair coordinator at Fairhope High Sschool. She has been teaching at FHS for two years. Prior to FHS, she was at Robertsdale High School for 2 years. She also taught at Murphy High School in Mobile County and was a resource teacher at the Environmental Studies Center in Mobile County.
Salinas is married and has two sons, ages 11 and 2, a couple of cats, and a dog. She attended Auburn University where she received her bachelor’s degree in wildlife science and a master’s degree in secondary education, and The University of South Alabama for her doctoral degree in educational leadership. Some of her hobbies are bird watching and star gazing. It is hard for her to choose, but her favorite animal is a cat.
