Fairhope High School’s boy’s varsity basketball team is heading to Montgomery to play in the 2021 AHSAA Boys State Basketball Tournament!

On Friday, February 19, Fairhope’s boys varsity basketball team won their game against Smiths Station, 79 to 49.

The team will face Auburn High School in the regional finals on Wednesday, February 24 for the chance to win the title of state champions. The game will start at 11:00 AM and will help determine who goes into the bracket for the final state championship game.

If Fairhope wins its regional final game against Auburn High School, they will go on to play either Hoover High School or Oak Mountain High School in the semi-finals on March 2 at 11:30 AM. Finally, if they win the semi-finals, they will go on to play in the championships on March 3 at 4:30 PM. The results of this game will determine the AHSAA State Champions. Both the semi-final and championship games will be held at UAB.
