Working out increases overall health

by Haley Gunther, reporter

People should work out more instead of lying around increasing health issues.Working out improves the body. By working out bones and muscles increasingly get stronger and reduce risk of disease

People who don’t work out have a higher risk of disease, according to www.cdc.gov “Heart disease and stroke are two leading causes of death in the United States.” To reduce Type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome, 150 minutes  a week of moderate physical activity helps tremendously.

Working out will improve overall health and the way people perform in different settings in their lives. Any form of working out can relieve stress levels, making people strive to achieve greater things.

According to Exercising to Relax, working out, “stimulates the production of endorphins, chemicals in the brain that are the body’s natural painkillers and mood elevators.”

Whenever people have had a morning of an intense workout, their body will release these chemicals and will feel a sense of tranquility.

Endorphins create that “runner’s high” and the feelings of relaxation and optimism. When people push the body to its limits and beyond they get a self-served achievement. They go beyond goals and set more goals for the future.

People’s life span will greatly increase if they do intense workout activities.

According to https://www.ama-assn.org/ “The study found that working out two to four times beyond the minimum vigorous physical activity recommendations led to a lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease.”

Doing intense workouts will help increase the blood pump through the heart more, so when they are in an intense situation, it’s not foreign for their heart to move at faster paces.

People should increase the intensity in their workout so they live longer and improve health.
