FAIRHOPE, Ala. (February 28, 2024)—Juniors and Seniors will gather in Daphne at Bellforest Pointe Venue for prom on April 5, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., for a night of fun and dancing. Callouts for seniors will be at Fairhope High School from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the gym. During Callouts, seniors will be escorted by their choice of either a parent or their date. Seniors are required to fill out an escort form to be escorted.
Prom is a formal dance hosted as a farewell for seniors and a transition for juniors into their senior year. Prom is a privilege for students who exhibit good behavior and work ethic.
“I think it’s a right of passage. It is a tradition that’s gone on for decades so my job is to plan it and make it fun for y’all,” said Elizabeth Orfanello, event planning teacher.
Tickets cost $45 and can be purchased on MySchoolBucks. They must be purchased before April 3; if not, tickets will have to be purchased from GoFan and the price will increase with GoFan fees.
The theme for the night is “A Derby Affair, Run for the Roses,” which represents running the race through high school. Derby attire includes classy dresses, big hats, and cocktail styles for women, while men wear nice suits and jackets, but formal attire is a prom tradition. Light refreshments, such as soft drinks, cupcakes, candy, popcorn, chips and more will be served. There will be no additional cost for food and beverages.
Prom will be a night to remember, so you won’t want to miss out. Remember to purchase tickets before April 3.
