Welcome to the Festival… On April 12, thousands of Baldwin County residents and tourists attend the Baldwin County Strawberry Festival. The Strawberry Festival was the 36th annual event at the Loxley Municipal Park.
Fun For Everyone… Families of all ages wander through the hundreds of activities offered to them by the Strawberry festival. They provided extensive types of food for festival goers to enjoy. (Caroline Anderson)Long Lines… Festival attendees wait in line for various goods. Lines were, on average, around 30 people long, but proved to move efficiently. “The lines are pretty long but they move super quickly – and the food is worth the wait,” said Kate Frego, festival attendee. (Caroline Anderson)Play to Win… Various games take place throughout the festival grounds. Hundreds of attendees played the fun and sometimes difficult games, some even winning a large stuffed animal. (Caroline Anderson)Shop ‘Til You Drop… Hundreds of vendors line the sidewalks of the Loxley Municipal Park. Attendees bought everything from cutting boards to crochet animals. (Caroline Anderson)Strawberry Shortcake… Festival attendees Calla Walter and Samantha Cobb sit near the sidewalk to eat strawberry shortcake. The shortcake cost $9 and proved very popular among customers. “It is seriously so good, I might go back and get another one,” Walter said.
