FAIRHOPE, Ala.– Tuesday, Jan. 26, Stephanie Giglotti signed copies of her newest cook-book “The Stress-Free Slowcooker” at Page and Pallet. This book includes 60 easy, no-time recipes, as she describes it. The book debuted January 27, 2026.
Fans and participants heard Giglotti speak about her book and get copies signed before it was even released. Along the sides of the room, tables of prepared recipes from her book were handed out to taste test.
A local Fairhope author, Giglotti has over 499k followers on Instagram and 492k on TikTok and specializes in sharing simple yet delicious recipes on her platforms. Her goal is to make dinner a fun and easy experience instead of something most dread and view as a chore.
“When I was younger, when my mom busted out the crock-pot, I was scared like what is coming out of there, but the slow cooker has come such a long way, it’s actually good food that’s simple to make,” Giglotti said.

Giglotti also has a blog online for people to explore called “Steph’s Real Life.” Her blog includes everything from easy appetizers, air fryer recipes, dinner and desserts. Perfect for every season, Giglotti has soups for a cozy cold night in, and corn on the cob for a hot summer night in mid-July.
Giglotti started posting in 2020, sharing her recipes and food hacks online, a couple viral videos later in 2021, her platform kept growing from there. She says it’s been “five years of career” referring to her being able to work from home for five years, all while doing what she loves.
“I’ve been doing social media for a couple of years now, my most popular content is slow cooker meals, perfect for people like me: moms who have to feed people, but don’t want to spend hours every night,” Giglotti said.
Giglotti learned to cook from her love of cooking shows she watched growing up. She wants the cooking experience to be fun and inspire others to fall in love with cooking. Her belief of cooking delicious meals doesn’t have to be complicated or extremely difficult, it can be as simple as throwing various ingredients into a crockpot. This is the whole point of her new book, teaching people how to cook simple meals, all while showing cooking can be enjoyable.
“Dinner is a stressful time for a lot of moms, which is weird to even think about because it shouldn’t stress people out. With these recipes, you’re basically throwing things in a pot and calling it a day,” Giglotti said.
Giglotti hopes to inspire people to make meals of their own and encourage people to try new things. Her book encourages families to get involved in the kitchen and teach not only parents, but also kids how to cook simple meals.
