Apple Gaston is a junior at Fairhope High School. She works on The Pirateer as a staff writer where she takes photos from events and writes articles about it. Gaston enjoys covering school and community events and is especially interested in photography. Outside of journalism, she likes reading, listening to loud music and organizing. One fun fact about Gaston is that she loves pets but would never get one in real life. Gaston loves all the colors of blue and her favorite story type is news about events that take place nearby.
