Knights of Ecor Rouge celebrate Hogwarts Mardi Gras

Welcome to Hogwarts… The first float, Emblem, rides down the road throwing flowers and stuffed animals. Children rushed to the side waving their hands and shouting “throw me something!” (Jillian Surla)

Letters to Fairhope… A Hedwig the owl float delivers joy to onlookers with gifts of swords, flowers and beads. Riders held large stuffed animals off the side to tease people. (Jillian Surla)

It’s the headmaster… The Hogwarts float showers downtown Fairhope with stuffed roses. A young girl exclaimed in joy when she caught one, then showed it to her mom. (Jillian Surla)
