Students elect SGA representatives

Friday May 1, Fairhope High School students cast their votes for the student government association to elect the 2026-27 school year representatives. Each grade level voted six representatives and senior leadership positions.

The winners were announced on Tuesday, May 5, during the morning announcements. President was elected to Margaret Conyers, Vice president to Josie Kemper and Secretary to Madeline Hart Preus. Current senior SGA members nominated three juniors to run for each president, vice president, and secretary position.

“I am excited to pass on the president position because I know the new officers will do a great job,” said Wright Wilcoxon, 2025-26 SGA president.

Over the past four weeks students ran campaigns, hanging posters around campus, promoting on social media, and playing games with students around school.

Elected seniors are Cooper Bell, George Kunz, Nylah Loukides, Sam Roach, Jay Nick Robinson and Carter Smith. Juniors representatives are Aly Bradley, Nash Gearhart, Knox Lawson, Campbell Phillips, Jackson Strunk and Claire Wang. Sophomores are Brody Bosarge, Camille Bozeman, Lila Jane Cook, Lexi Doggett, Evangeline O’Dwyer and Gracyn Traylor.
