This Friday Luke Freer made Fairhope High School history. During an arduous game against the Baker Hornets, Freer kicked a 59-yard field goal to end the half. The monumental kick broke the previous state record of 58 yards set by ex-Fairhope kicker Sam Rayborn. Freer plans to join the military after his senior year.
