BAY MINETTE, Ala.- Thursday, November 14-15, Grit, Gold and Glory FFA pro rodeo is riding into Bay Minette to support the Elberta and Fairhope High School Future Farmers of America [FFA] program.
The two-night event will feature barrel racing, bull riding, live music, food trucks and a kid zone. All of the proceedings will directly benefit the Elberta and Fairhope High School FFA programs.
The rodeo will create a place where people can support their community and hang out with friends and family. “I’m excited to support the FFA while going to a fun event,” said Ava Gardner, FFA member.
The Elberta and Fairhope High schools decided to collaborate to raise money for new greenhouses. “A lot of schools in Baldwin County have been holding fundraisers to raise money for new greenhouses, so we decided to collaborate to raise money for both Fairhope and Elberta,” said Madeline Domino, Fairhope agriculture teacher.
The Livestock and equipment for the rodeo will be supplied by Bo Campbell Rodeo Productions. Bo Campbell’s Rodeo Productions was founded 30 years ago by Bo Philips and has more than two decades of experience producing rodeos.
The event will be held for the first time ever at Carol Hodgson Arena, 43421 Pine Grove Rd, Bay Minette, Alabama. The gates will open at 6 p.m., and the activities will begin at 7:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend the event. Tickets are available at https://gofan.co/event/4907736 .
