FAIRHOPE Ala.– Fairhope High School is selling senior ads to friends and family in the Bay Breeze yearbook to commemorate a senior while supporting the FHS journalism department. The deadline to purchase the ad is November 21.
Purchase options are full page $350; half page $200; one-fourth page $125.
Buying a senior ad gives families the opportunity to have a meaningful keepsake while directly supporting the yearbook program.
“A senior yearbook ad is more than just a photo and a few words. It’s a lasting tribute to your child’s journey. These personalized pages let you celebrate their hard work, milestones, and the person they’ve become,” said Angela Garner, yearbook adviser.
“Years from now, your senior (and your family) will be able to open the yearbook and relive these memories, seeing your words of pride and love right alongside their classmates and friends.”
The funds keep the cost of the yearbooks affordable for all students, improve photography and printing quality and continue the tradition of capturing the school’s story each year. Unlike websites and yardsigns, yearbooks are lifelong history books to look at in the years to come.
“Looking back, the best part of my senior ad wasn’t the pictures or the fancy layout—it was having this little corner of the yearbook that felt unmistakably mine. It’s weirdly comforting knowing there’s a small piece of me frozen in that moment,” said Jillian Surla, 2025 Bay Breeze editor. “Years from now, when life feels too fast, I know I’ll flip back to that page and remember exactly what brought me to where I am—who brought me to where I am. And honestly? That’s a pretty awesome thing to have.”
