FAIRHOPE, Ala.– Bay Shore Ballet will host its Nutcracker performance on Friday,December 12, in school showings, and Saturday, December 13, with two showings [ 2 P.M. and 7 P.M.]  at the Fairhope Civic Center. 

“The Nutcracker” is a Christmas tradition by the Bayshore Ballet Company for 28 years. 

Halle Smith, company dancer said the excitement and practice is building up to the big performance. “I’m most excited for it to be here. We have been practicing since early September. The cast list came out and we immediately started rehearsing our parts and group dances. We also have had dress rehearsals and other events to better prepare us to be in front of the public and crowd.” 

Bay Shore Ballet is the oldest ballet studio in Baldwin County and has been delivering classical ballet training since 1973.
