Last Day to buy Bay Breeze yearbook approaching

FAIRHOPE, Ala.- The final day to purchase a Bay Breeze yearbook is December 31. The yearbook is the only printed documentation of the school year made for students, by students.

A yearbook is a time capsule that can be purchased online for $99. It cannot be purchased on My School Bucks. [Go to yearbookordercenter.com / School code is 1018.] 

“A yearbook is a history of your high school memories. It also serves as a reminder of what you had in high school,” said Jon Cardwell, principal. “Trust me, as you get older, you forget things from that long ago. Yearbooks are cool because it’s all about kids and what they do. It’s not an information book or like a textbook. All the pictures are kids doing what they love and having fun.”

Websites and digital photos can be lost while yearbooks are preserved in hard copy format. Yearbook are legitimate historical documents. Buying a yearbook is a deliberate decision to ensure that your future self will not regret a lack of owning evidence of your high school years. 

“No one ever regrets buying a yearbook, but there are many people who regret not buying one,” said Angela Garner, yearbook adviser. Owning a Bay Breeze yearbook is a symbol of pride dedicated to your high school years, and a token of your patronage to the journalistic arts as well as the FHS yearbook program.
