Midterm exam week approaching

FAIRHOPE, Ala.– Midterm exams for grades 7-12 are scheduled for the week before Christmas break, Dec. 16-18.

Tuesday, Dec. 16, students will take both English and math exams. Wednesday, Dec. 17, students will complete science and social studies exams and on Thursday, Dec. 18, students will complete elective exams.

“To make it easier for kids we scheduled two exams a day,” said Jon Cardwell, principal.

Students will be required to attend school all week with no exceptions. They are expected to attend each of their classes as if it were any other school day.

“The state forces me to take attendance Monday through Friday even on makeup day. Unfortunately, I don’t make up the rules and kids still have to attend even on days with no tests,” Cardwell said.

Friday, Dec. 19,  students may make up any exams they missed throughout the week.
