When looking for classic country and southern comfort food. Cracker Barrel offers homestyle classics and fills you with nostalgia. 

Last Saturday, I was craving some country food before going to the mall. I remembered that Cracker Barrel is always a go to for classics, so I had to get some. I arrived at 4:20 p.m., and got to our table right away.

Sitting down, I noticed that it wasn’t a typical restaurant. Cracker Barrel gives  a southern country aesthetic with instruments, photos and records hanging on the walls. The staff clearly used the fireplace during the colder months, and they kept the tables clean.

The family friendly atmosphere and impeccable background music played old classic country music. The restaurant felt comfortable and homey.

I ordered two mini burgers with a side of fries from my server after a minute or so of being seated at a table.  There was an option to choose a side of steak as it is a part of the cheeseburgers but I wanted fries. When the dish arrived it was piping hot with a generous serving of fries. The fries were soft but crispy with the burgers being well cooked. The buns were clearly freshly baked and they were juicy with the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese blending nicely together. 

Eating out is a great way for some quick food. However prices can be a deciding factor for many. Considering the portion sizes and quality, Cracker Barrel offers reasonable prices for good food when compared to other restaurants. My meal came to a total cost of $12.38.The burgers were $5.89 and the fries were $6.49.

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was very tasty, and I ate it on a hungry stomach. It left me satisfied and full. They get 5 stars and another visit from me soon.
