FAIRHOPE ALA– December 1 – 12, Downtown Fairhope stores offered groundbreaking deals for the holiday season. Throughout the 12 days, items were half the price they were yesterday, promoting business and giving the community deals to celebrate.
“The 12 Days of Christmas sales encourage people to shop local and support small businesses during the holidays,” said Jessie Stevens, manager at Private Gallery.
Having something customers can look forward to brings in business and helps support local shops. For many small businesses, almost half of their revenue comes during this busy season. Having sales like these is an amazing opportunity to grow their customer base and create year-long customer relationships.
“My favorite part about these sales is that they keep our local economy strong, while bringing the community together during this special time of year,” Stevens said.
Purchasing last-minute gifts is easier. Not only do they support local businesses, but these sales also give great holiday gifts at a lower price. Buying gifts at a lower price takes the stress off customers and their wallets. It’s the gift that keeps giving.

“My favorite part of these sales was my favorite candle brand, Flicker and Flame, being 25% off, what a steal,” said Grace Literal, employee at Private Gallery.
Varieties of sales were offered this year at Private Gallery, ranging from candles, shoes, bags, jewelry, and specific brands. On the last day, Private Gallery offered a spin-the-wheel day. Participants spun the wheel with different products to reveal their sale of the day.
Whether buying for family and friends, or treating yourself to a gift this year, Downtown Fairhope offered patrons the chance to save on brands and pay half the price of the original sale point during this special season.
