Baldwin County Public Schools to host Grateful for Grandfamilies

FAIRHOPE, Ala. Families will gather for the annual Grateful for Grandfamilies meeting in Central Office Satellite, Loxley, April. 30, from 4:30 P.M to 6:30 P.M. Children are welcome to join.

Grateful for Grandfamilies takes place annually with multiple meetings held throughout the school year. The program supports grandparents and relatives raising children, while providing a sense of community. It invites visitors to appreciate caregivers and share experiences with each other. These meetings provide resources, support, programs and more.

“This program really helps families get the help they need and create such a good environment of love and support. People can connect and share what they have learned, and this program is really such a good program,” said Jennifer McCrary, one of the organizers.

Grateful for Grandfamilies connect grandfamilies to resources for food, education and legal assistance.

Come and connect with others. Bring your family and children to this family-friendly event. You must present a valid ID to enter.
