Amelia Bates lives in Fairhope, Alabama, with heritage in Louisiana and throughout the deep south. Bates exceeds academically, being in the 30+ club and enrolled in multiple AP classes. She is also the current Robotics Club president, wherein the team has previously won multiple competitions, and Bates is prepared to bring home another gold medal. She has also worked at the Fairhope Chicken Salad Chick since its opening. In her free time, Bates enjoys staying up late drawing fantasy creatures. Overall, she is strongly invested in her community and school but also always makes time for her art, even if it's at midnight.
