Penny Hood, reporter
Penny Hood, a sophomore, is a staff writer and photographer of the Pirateer. She is largely interested in the community and has many different roles in the Pirateer, such as a writer, photographer and interviewer. Hood enjoys covering art and community events, as she is involved with theatre and grew up in a family of artists. Outside of the Pirateer, Hood travels, hikes, backpacks and practices guitar. A fun fact about her is that she is originally from Montana and lives and works there in the summer. She enjoys the outdoors and everything nature has to offer.
