Teachers decorate doors for Christmas competition

Let’s make snowflakes… Science teacher Amanda Lathem displays a science-based process to make snowflakes. She showed how science could be both fun and educational. “I find it fascinating how all snowflakes are unique, so I went into the science behind it and talked about how those differences can occur,” Lathem said. Coming in for landing… Teachers Tricia Hudson, Lacey Powell, Charles Nelson and Jennifer Nolte team up to create elves delivering presents to downtown Fairhope. The depiction of the town won 1st place overall. “We all came together and gathered ideas on what to do and we decided it would be so cool to do the whole town with elves helping Santa delivering presents,” Nolte said.
