FAIRHOPE, Ala. (November 7, 2025)- Fairhope High School will host baseball tryouts on November 17 and 18 for upcoming 8-12 graders.
Students must register using the QR code by November 14 to participate and need to have an up-to-date physical uploaded to Dragonfly. Tryouts will be held on the FHS baseball fields at Volanta Park with a starting time of 4 p.m. Players must bring all equipment and wear baseball pants.
“Our team goals [for this season] are to win the area championship for the 5th year in a row and ultimately win a state championship,” said Stephen Ledford, assistant coach. Last season, the Fairhope Pirates came up short in state playoffs.
All students trying out will attend tryouts on the scheduled days; the first cut will be made after those days. Students who make it through the first cut will then attend tryouts on November 19 and 21 to await second cut and finalized roster.
If you have a love for baseball and think you have the skills to make the team, then don’t forget to register with the QR code and be at Volanta Park at 4 p.m. on November 17 and 18.
