2021 Final Exam Schedule

Attention all 9th, 10, and 11th graders! Here’s what you need to know about upcoming exams!
Exemption Qualifications:
Sorry Freshmen, you may not be exempt from any core classes. Your time will come.
In order for any 10th or 11th graders to be exempt from any of the four core classes, students must have a B average in their desired class, no discipline referrals, and no more than three unexcused absences.
Sophomores must have earned a benchmark score of 18 in English, 22 in Reading, 22 in Math, or 23 in Science on their Pre-ACT in order to be eligible for exemptions.
Juniors must have completed the ACT in order to be eligible for exemptions.
All students taking foreign languages may be eligible for exemption if they have no discipline referrals, a B average, and no more than three unexcused absences.
Exam Schedule:
Wednesday, May 19th – 7th period exams
Thursday, May 20th – 4th, 5th, and 6th period exams
Friday, May 21st – 2nd and 3rd period exams
Monday, May 24th – 1st Period exams and Make-up exams
Tuesday, May 25th – Make-up exams
Absences during Exam Week:
Wednesday, May 19th
Students are expected to be here all day on Wednesday and can sign out with their 6th period teacher if they do not have an exam in 7th period.
Thursday, May 20th
Students should be here all day on Thursday and can sign out with their 3rd period teacher if they do not have an exam 4th, 5th, and 6th periods. If they have exams in any of those periods, they must stay on campus until they take that exam. Then, they can sign out with that teacher after completing that exam.
Friday, May 21st
If a student does not have any exams on Friday, parents may choose to keep them at home. They will be counted as absent. If they wish to have this absence excused, they should bring a note before Friday and leave it with the front office. If they have used their allotment of parent notes, their absence will be unexcused, but will not count towards retention. Students must check out through the main office after their exams on Friday. In order for a student to be eligible for perfect attendance, they must be here Friday.
Monday, May 24th
1st period exams-If students do not have a 1st period exam or make-up exams they do not have to come Monday. If a student does not have a 1st period or need to make up any exams, they may stay home and will be counted as present at home.
Tuesday, May 25th
Make up exams. If a student does not need to make up any exams they may stay home and will be counted as present at home.
Students do not have an open campus during exam week. Students must come to school at 8am and stay through their exams.
