Journalism classes explore Disney World parks
Friday February 14, Preschool students hosted a Mardi Gras themed parade in front of Fairhope High School for Operation Jubilee students. Preschool student Keegan Hall throws moon pies to the freshman boys. The float theme was “Under the Sea” and students dressed as sea animals. “They’ve been talking all day about their floats, what they were wearing and how they decorated them with their moms and dads,” said Christy Carson, pre-k teacher. The subject of this pet photography is Ranger Mosley. I chose these shots because in all 5 of them his fur is glimmering from the lighting of the sun and he looks very happy to be outside. His brown eyes are also very visible as he moves around in various positions. (Rowan Mosley)

 Rowan Mosley is a sophomore at Fairhope High School and is a contributing photographer in Angela Garner’s 2025-2026 photojournalism course. Mosley contributes to photography and correspondence in The Bay Breeze and The Pirateer. He enjoys focusing on lighter topics, like relevant news to the community, sports games and community events. His favorite type of photography is environmental and still life images. Outside of journalism, he enjoys collecting cards and spending his free time either gaming or attending to his family. One fun fact about Mosley is that he can vibrate his eyes.
