Journalism classes explore Disney World parks
Friday February 14, Preschool students hosted a Mardi Gras themed parade in front of Fairhope High School for Operation Jubilee students. Preschool student Keegan Hall throws moon pies to the freshman boys. The float theme was “Under the Sea” and students dressed as sea animals. “They’ve been talking all day about their floats, what they were wearing and how they decorated them with their moms and dads,” said Christy Carson, pre-k teacher. Jenaveve Thompson, contributing photographer

Jenaveve Thompson is a sophomore at Fairhope High School. She is a photojournalism student who contributes photography and correspondence to The Bay Breeze and the Pirateer. Thompson enjoys covering sports and community and is especially interested in environmental and still life photography. The main thing she wants to cover is sports because it is also the environmental type of photography. Outside of journalism, she likes to play in the marching band, build legos, draw and hang out with friends in her freetime. One fun fact about Thompson is her talent at playing the trombone.
